A Novel Steal (The 'Real' roleplay)

"Dude, that's weird." Emily says, looking around. "I manage and live above a coffee shop, what? Ten blocks down." She says, laughing a little.

"I just got here a few weeks ago, ran into them at McDonalds. I've been traveling the country." He said, pointing outside through the glass windows in front of the store, at his Harley. "Decided to stay for a while." He added. "It's great to see you." He said, and then returned to looking at his feet, his cheeks slightly red as he awkwardly shuffled his feet.

"Gross, more nerds." Tony muttered as he walked out into the shop, carrying a stack of comics. "Have you two boned yet, or are you too busy being generic?" He called, stocking the shelves of comics, impact-fonted letters forming beside him to spell '@R-T', before the lines shifted to spell 'TONY'.

Dylan coughed and turned to look at Tony, his face was now blood red. Uno wot. He said mentally, before turning and looking at Emily for brief second, and then back at his feet.

Emily let out a soft laugh. "Hey Tony,  nice to meet you too." She says almost sarcastically. Emily looked around the book shop and noticed eggy, she set her book down and made her way over, oicking up a TMNT comic. "This is weird. Egg, do you think this coukd actually happen? Like, cmon, toxic waste? Wouldn't that just kill them?"

"Yeah Emily, I'd love to go out for coffee or something." Dylan muttered to himself as he turned and went over to a empty wall, sliding down it, and sitting in the floor. Burying his face in his hands, out of embarrassment and trying to show how happy he was, and boredom.

Lars waved his hand to emily but kept concentrating on his game. He was really addicted to Smite,

Emily waved back at Lars, and looked over at Dylan and rolled her eyes, she was an insensitive person in an insensitive person, she couldn't give a crap really. That was one thing about Emily, she gave away all of her feelings away, a long time ago, so she is either angry, hungry, tired, or generally listening, but not really caring, usuakly it was all of the above.

Dylan stood up and entered the back room, grabbing a case of newly delivered manga, and bringing them to the front of the store, where he began putting them on the shelves.

Lars muttered something about boredom. "Hey, have any of you ever wondered what the world would be like if we became superheroes? Or supervilains in Arty and Emily's case."

"I would probably kill all of you. Doesn't matter why though." Emily says shrugging putting down the TMNT comic and to where she put down her messenger bag, she took out her wallet. "Would you ring me up Lars?" She asks, grabbong 'The Idiot' from the shelf she had found it, and walking over to the counter.

"Hey, yeah, over here? the guy who called you generic? I run the comic stand that you just robbed of a TMNT issue." Tony called, waving to Emily.

"I got it." Dylan said, throwing a ten at Lar's as he walked back into the back room, getting another case of books.

"Wow..." Tony muttered, as the "word" 'W0W' formed beside him. Near thirty minutes later, a far-too obvious student of Xavier's School walked into the store, looking around curiously.

Lars walked over and looked at the guy. "May I help you?" He asked.

Alex walked past Dylan, who said a quick hi, before turning around looking at him. "No..." He said to himself, then turned back around to stock shelves. Alex walked past Emily, and asked. "Excuse me, Miss. Do you work here?"

Artemis wandered toward the comic shelves, eyeing the few X-Men issues suspiciously. Tony watched the two, eyes wide, jaw hanging. He kept his focus on the slightly-panicking Artemis, although he began to focus more on Alex. 'Probably just a WeLoveFine customer...' Tony muttered, red rashes of scribbled ink forming on each side of his head as his face turned rose red.

"That comic belongs to Eggy, actually. " Emily said in response to Tony's accusation. "Sorry guy, I don't work here, but blushy guy over there does, and so does that one." Emily says, motioning to Lars.

Maggie looked up from her comic, only get eyes seen over the top. She gave a small yelp when she saw the two, but it could barely be heard. She was getting better to hold in her moments of fangirlness. (Sorry if this is in large text. I don't know if it did or not. Its big on my typing.)

"Alright, cool. What's your name?" Alex asked, holding out a hand for a shake. "I'm Alexander."

Emma held 8 TMNT comics close, as well as a Karai figure.
"Is there something wrong with TMNT comics?" Emma whined.

(is coo mid) Sweartogod, Emily!" Tony called with a growl, pulling the hood of his jacket over his head once again. Matching text formed beside him as he said it. "Not if I'm getting paid." He continued as an answer. Artemis looked back to Alex and Emily, raising a brow before returning to the comic. He took a stack of the comics, before heading to Tony's counter. THe two began to talk, Artemis taking note of the symbols and text.

"My name is Emily." Emily says shaking his hand, she felt as if she was the only one not loosing her head.

Emma walked over the Emily, jumping on her back.
"LUCIFER!" She chimed loudly, clinging to her friend's back.

Alex nodded and turned away, heading to Artemis. -- Dylan walked over to Emily, his eyes large. "Do you realize who that could have been?" He whispered, looking over at Alex.
