A Novel Steal (The 'Real' roleplay)

"Aah, Audrey, find me a few X-Men!" Tony called back as he stumbled out, growling once the unfiltered sunlight hit his dulled, dark skin. He pulled the hood of his red hoodie over his messy black hair with a grumble.

Audrey sighed, deciding to help Tony. She searched the boxes for X-Men comics, finding a couple of old ones, then some more. She spent her time creating different piles for different series.

Lars walked into McDonald's (Timeskip, babababa I'm loving it.)

Emma followed, ordering three bacon egg and cheese biscuits with 5 hashbrowns and one large coke. Because she was that hungry. She also ordered a chicken biscuit for Audrey.

As everyone sat down, there was a loud sound of an engine outside, followed by the bells ringing as the door opened. A 6'6, average build adult male entered the restaurant, wearing jeans, converse, and a black leather jacket with faded words on the back. He took off a pair of sunglasses, and ordered.

It was Dylan, he had been gone for a few months now, no one had known where.

Tony waited outside, hands stuffed into the pockets of his hoodie. His blue converse were pressed together, the fabric of his black jeans rubbing together to produce some heat. There was no way in hell that he was going to be seen in there.

Emma glanced at him. She felt like a midget. They were extremely close in age, yet she was still over a foot shorter than him.
She then gasped in recognition, and Brando, her large dog, barked as well.
"Dylan? Is that you?!"

Lars looked over his sausage McGriddle at the new entry. "Isn't that Dylan, girl I still don't know?"

"I'M EGGY!" Emma stomped on Lars' foot, then turned back to Dylan.
"DYLAN!"

"Well, your breath does smell like it." Lars said whiffing the smell away from his nose, trying not to notice the searing pain in his foot.

"Asshole.."

Dylan turned around, removing one of his earbuds. "Yeah, a sausage egg and cheese mcmuffin and a large coffee." He said, and turned to Eggy. "And who are you?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I'M EGGY! YOUR FRIEND! WHY DOES NO ONE REMEMBER ME?" Emma huffed.

"Oh." He said, scratching his head. "Hey egg," He said, shrugging off the dog inside McDonalds. He got his order and made his way to a seat towards the back. "Why are you here?" He asked, as he took a drink of his coffee.

"I own a bookshop down the road in Brooklyn. Tony is outside because he's a ratchet little bitch. What are you doing here?" Lars asked Dylan. He hadn't seen him in a while, wondered where he was 'n shite.

"Oh, Cast." Dylan said, not noticing him. "So you all are together now or something?" He asked, taking a bite of his food like he hadn't eaten in weeks.

"Not really. This girl I just met walked into my store, and started saying she was an egg or something. Artemis helps run my shop, and Audrey stays in my shop during the day. She's a vampire now. Appearently, she drank some weird ass kool aid then died while eating an oyster. Meh. Anyway, whats new with you?"

"First off, that's eggy. Aud brought her in." Dylan said, finishing his food. "I've been traveling." He said, nodding outside at his bike.

"He has horrible memory." Emma told Dylan.

Maggie walked into the shop. She was invisible, but at right light an outline could be seen of a small, eighteen year old girl. Her hair was died a light blue and she had on a black New York City sweatshirt with a tank top underneath that had a 'Hunter's Checklist' printed on it. Her shorts were dark denim and covered the top of a pair of leggings that tucked neatly into a pair of black lace up boots. A brown leather bag hung from her shoulders that contained her phone, iPod, wallet, random book, and composition book. As well a jumbled mess of lanyards plastered in buttons.

Audrey peeked out of her door slightly, examining the open door. However, she couldn't see anything. Audrey hesitantly went back to finding X-Men comics.

"Cool, cool. Still don't know this egg person, but cool." Lars said. He began looking at his phone. It was 10:00. "Should've ordered a breakfast burger..." He muttered.

"Well, I'll be off." Dylan said, downing the rest of his coffee and standing up. "Nice to hear you all have a business running."

"Well, I mean, you could stay with us... I guess. If you needed a place to stay." Lars said awkwardly sipping his coke.

"Eh." Dylan said, looking out at his bike. "Do you guys have a manga section?" He asked, grinning and turning to look at Lars.
