The New and Improved.

A group of three walked up to the gate, all wearing familiar red, blue, and gold uniforms. Lead by an African-American woman who seemed to be in her 20s, they teleported past the gate, continuing on their streamlined path toward the mansion.

"Just." Colin began, and dropped his phone on accident, screen up and visible to Kris. On it was a picture of the two in Maui, two years ago. The sun was setting behind them over the ocean, as they stood on the beach, holding each others hand and kissing.

Kris glanced at the photo, "Okay, well, either this is some elusive prank, but everyone says we were a thing, so..." Kris said, "We can't just, go back to the way things things possibly were." She said, taking the phone and handing it to him, "So, how about dinner, maybe --" Kris began, then looked out of his window to see the group of teens. "Who are they?"

Colin stood up and looked out the window. "No idea. But either way, they look like trouble." Colin said as he exited the room. "Alert Alex, I'll stall them until then." He said, and disappeared around the corner, showing up a second later. "Dinner. Tonight, at 7. Meet me in the kitchen. As long as we don't die before then." He said, his eyes shining as he grinned, as he held onto the small glimmer of hope that he had, that Kris would get her memory back.

Leia in a tree in the front and she observed from above. She was sitting on a branch and leaning against the trunk. "What the hell do we have here?" she mumbled to herself as she stood up, balancing herself on the branch as she kept looking down.

Kris nodded, grimacing as she walked out of the room. She went to find Alex, finding him in his lab. "There's these group of people who, I think they're wanna-be Power Rangers, are walking towards the mansion. Fast, too." She explained.

Alex nodded and pushed a few buttons, and then guns and other weapons came out from near the front gate, aiming at the wannabe power rangers. "What do you want?" He said through the intercom, just as Colin made his way up to the group.

Leia climbed down the tree, jumping at the last branch. She kept her eye on them, walking from behind.

The leader teleported the group past the fountain, before she outreached a hand, eyes darting about to inspect the area. "We have vital information. Kill us and you put this school in danger." Sterling announced, looking up to the mansion, unsure of the intercom speaker's placement. A brown-haired boy, much shorter than the others, looked around the courtyard with nervous eyes. His 'uniform' was nothing special--A bomber jacket over a t-shirt with jeans and combat boots, only carrying the team's color scheme.

"Explain yourself or I'll not hesitate." Alex said over the intercom.

Colin stepped forward, inspecting the group. "Answer his question or I'll do the job myself."

"Buncha' blood thirsty animals..." The brown-haired boy muttered, folding his arms. "We can't be expected to explain highly confidential information in a courtyard full of students." Sterling continued, rolling his eyes through the visor of his helmet.

"You can't expect us to be all welcoming when you teleport all over the place with little words," LEia mumbled, energy flashing around her fists.

"Hardly a reason to become full-fledged serial killers." The boy called, focusing on Leia. "Kill any of us and you're at risk of legal charge, considering how many witnesses are around." He continued, his gaze intensifying.

"Never said we were gonna kill ya," Leia retorted. "All I'm saying is we're allowed to be defensive. Especially when some strangers come on and invite themselves in."

Kris stepped out of the crowd of students, "Alright, Power Rangers. We get it, killing of you, death by lawsuit. But your speaking here, not inside. So perhaps start talking now, or we have the right to get you Rainbows off our property."

"Whatever. New kid, the display." Sterling ordered, before the kid unfolded his right arm, pulling up the sleeve of his jacket to reveal a red cuff device. It quickly projected a turnaround of the Black Wasp's armor, also giving a rotating model of his helmet. "According to our data, it goes by "The Black Wasp". It usually attacks vigilante teams during the night, in New York. Twenty serious injuries have been reported, although it hasn't killed, yet. We found it in Annandale-On-Hudson, four days after your MRD raid. New Kid managed a scan, but most of the information was scrambled and unreadable. It also replaced our own information forms' questions with its own. We haven't been able to piece together any of its physical appearance. We assume this is because of its ability to 'adapt'." 

The presentation shifted, now giving models of B.W's daggers, wings, and gloves. "After our attack, it's started to use a form of energy, identical to our's. Now, it's able to teleport and create energy constructs. Because of that energy, we've been able to trace its movement, for the most part. In the last two weeks, it's visited this school ten times. We've come to discuss a plan. We assume you'd like this school--And its students--to stay safe." Sterling finished, hands clasped behind his back while the cuff's holographic presentation died, and the kid hid the cuff once again.

"So, you want us to team? With your hostility?" Kris said, her arms crossed.

"Woops, sorry, I forgot that we were the ones threatening murder." Sterling called to Kris, glaring at her.

Colin shook his head and looked over to Kris. "So this has something to do with the MRD raid, as well as the school. Possibly it's a former member of one of the two?" He said, to really no one in particular. "Alex." He said, turning to the fountain, which is where the main camera and microphone were hidden. "We need round the clock security on every inch of the school, as well as extra firepower. However, we don't engage this, Black Wasp. Until we are forced to." He then turned back to Sterling. "I may regret this, but I trust you. You can stay in one of the side housing areas if you like."

Kris scoffed, shifting around and striding off to the mansion.

With one last glare to the kid, Leia walked back to the mansion after Kris.

"Thank you." Sterling said, almost smugly as he, along with the rest of the team, turned to the gate. As they walked, they teleported away, returning moments later in what was--according to their map--a housing area, at the right of the mansion.

Colin walked in after Kris. "Look. They seem to be credible. I'm going to speak to them later, but first. I have to prepare for our date." He said, and headed off to the kitchen.

TimeSkip: 6:30

Colin went from one side of the kitchen to the other, setting up plates and glasses, checking and stirring food. Chicken Fettichini, oysters, and other small things. Kris's favorites, all put together in one meal.

(ahhhhhhhhhh oysters!!!!!!!!!!) Kris made her way into the kitchen, "Wow, you really put out." Kris said, examining the pots and dishes.

Colin nodded as he finished putting everything on the table, he wiped his hands on his apron and smiled. He then took off his apron, and ran his hand through his hair. He was wearing (what damon's wearing in your FC cj) "I hope it's not too sudden, I just. I've really missed you these past few weeks, and." He sighed, looking away.
