The New and Improved.

Scarlet had gone away on personal business, she had only told Drake that she was visiting family. When the red head walked into the mansion, she notices the gloomy mood, and the crying people. "Damn it." She murmurs, walking outside, standing quietly, gazing at the picture, not a tear shed, she stood near Leia, noticing her also dry eyes. "It makes you wish you knew him better, doesn't it?" She asks, not looking at her.

Kris looked down at the injured man, looking around, "Should we take him to the Infirmary?" She whispered, not particularly wanting to interrupt the memorial.

"It makes me glad I don't know any of them better, but makes me wish I did." She noticed Colin, her eyes going wide, "Holy shit he's alive."

Colin groaned into the ground, looking up. "Kris." Could be heard through the muffled voice.

Colin was brought to the infirmary, where he was treated for his wounds but had to stay for a couple nights for observation. Kris stood at the doorway, looking at him. She didn't know him, but obviously he knew her.

Her engagement ring had been lost during the battle, when she was flung into the building.

Colin looked up from the bed. "Dropped this." He said, his voice raspy. As he opened up his hand, and in his palm sat her engagement ring. He looked weakly at her, and slightly smiled.

Kris looked around, to see if he was talking to her. She was the only person there, so she approached him. She inspected the ring, "I don't think that's mine..." She said, with a faint sympathetic smile. She inspected his medical chart, "Colin... Wagner. Are you new here?"

"It's not nice to try and confused your injured Fiancee." Colin laughed slightly as he sat up in his bed. He coughed, and then cleared his throat.

Kris once again looked around. She stood, taking a step away from Colin, "Uh, I think you've got the wrong person."

Colin laughed again, but then looked up at her. "You're serious.." He said, and began to get out of bed, pulling his IV out and a few other things. "Where's Artemis?" He coughed, stumbling.

Kris looked at him, as if scanning if he was some sick and twisted comedian. "Artemis... died, when we were getting Alex."

Colin fell to the floor, losing his balance. "This better fucking be a dream." He muttered, burying his head into the bed.

Kris continued to stand, "I'm pretty sure it's real," Kris said, "Unless I've been in a coma." She said, running her fingers against a scar on the side of her forehead that was once the huge gash she had obtained in the Sentinel fight.

A black-clad, masked figure watched over the service, kneeling over the roof of the mansion. Yellow light began filling the dark-tinted material of his black helmet. As he stood, two pairs of black frames unfolded from his back, the lower pair smaller than the far-extending top. The two were soon filled with the same yellow light of his helmet, creating two pairs of long, slim wings. He pounced off of the roof with virtually no verbal sound at all, yellow energy once again appearing as fuel for his flight through ports in his boot's soles. He was, eventually, teleported away, leaving only the signature golden light.

"Kris. Kris Youngblood. We grew up in Maui together. We dated. We got separated due to our powers manifesting. We met back up here. Fell in love all over again. Please don't do this to me!" Colin said, turning to look at her. "Please.." He whispered, leaning back against the bed.

Kris backed to the entrance door, shaking her head, "I-I think you've got the wrong person. I gotta go, sorry. Get better soon." She said, beginning to walk out the door. She turned to look at him, as if trying to recollect her memories. Kris turned back again and walked out of the infirmary.

"What's going on in there?" Alex asked as he passed Kris in the hallway, stopping and leaning against a wall.

Kris looked to Alex, "Not really sure. Some guy, Colin, or whatever, is a lunatic and a stalker." Kris sighed, putting her hands on her hips.

Alex sighed, and rubbed his temples. "Kris, you're suffering from Amnesia. You were injured in the fight, Colin is your fiancée.."

Kris looked at Alex, "I don't believe you, why wouldn't I remember my own fiancee, injuries or not." Kris scoffed, "I bet he got you in this weird joke or whatever, I'm going to go somewhere that isn't infested with very bad comedians." Kris said, walking off.

"Storm, I'm going to need you to talk to Kris about the whole, Colin thing." Alex said as she walked past him. She nodded, and headed after her.

Kris was on the front lawn of the mansion, the bright sun illuminating the grass with its warm rays. She was going through old photos, in which there were only some of Colin, but she didn't particularly recognize him.

Through the many attempts of the others, Kris still failed to remember Colin and their relationship.

Colin sat in their room, which he now had to himself, looking through pictures on his phone. He shouldn't have gone to save Alex, everything would be normal now. He hated himself.

Kris sighed, organizing the photos and walking to Colin's room, where she stood at the door. "Hi," She said, then cleared her throat, "What, er, what are you doing?"
