Day of Present Bore.

"Solar manipulation. But that's no reason for liquid to burst into flames." Arno said grabbing hot sauce from the fridge. "I think it's the cereal..."

Drake made his own bowl of cereal and then sat down next to Scarlet. "What do you want to do today?" He asked after taking a bite.

"Solar could set things on fire. It has to do with light, right?" She asked as she at her cereal.

"Breath." Scarlet says in a monotonous voice, and a straight face, that didn't last long. Soon Scarlet was smiling, and eating again. "I don't know, But breathing and eating are a deffinate yes." She says.

(Is nobody gonna open the door for the new girl? xD)

"That's..reassuring." Drake said, shrugging.

After taking care of his hygiene, Artemis stepped out of his bathroom to gather his clothing, then quickly went back in. He changed into a Xavier Institute t-shirt, black shorts that end mid-thigh, black boots, a red neckerchief, a rubber Marc Jacobs collar-style bracelet, and a red driver's cap. He opened the door, and began to walk out, before backing in and looking to the mirror, going through various hair and eye colors.

Scarlet looks over at Drake and raises an eyebrow. She shakes her head and turns her attention back to her cereal, before asking, "What would you like to do?" Scarlet then looks back at Drake.

"Well, that's true." Arno says to Kasey while pounding on the hot sauce bottle to get some out.

"Talk about our feelings. You know. The norm." Drake said, trying to keep a straight face, his eyes wandered and met Scarlet's, which caused him to laugh.

"Are they high right now...?" Arno asks leaning over to Kasey.

Scarlet rises out her bowl and puts it in the doshwasher, along with the spoon she had used. "When you come up with something, I'll be in my room watching a movie." Scarlet says, walking upstairs, turning on her portable DVD player, she puts in Rent, and smiles shaking her head, remembering her brother's opinion on it, 'a bunch of Liberal bull crap.' He'd say.

"Maybe. Hard to tell," she whispered back. "Probably not though."

Drake popped up beside her, yawning. He put his hands behind his head and looked up at the ceiling. "Scarlet Thorne." He began, then shot up. "I uh, I mean Turner." He turned red, despite his pale skin.

Scarlet shrugs and continues watching her movie. 'Poor angle...' She thinks, as his character is introduced.

Drake awkwardly goes back to his position, eventually falling asleep next to Scarlet.

Arno nodded and then began chugging his milk. The fire had gone out, but steam came out of his mouth. "Welp, now that I fixed the universe. I'm going to go watch TV." Arno said before standing up, putting his dish in the dishwasher and turned on the television.

Juliet walked back in the mansion. She wanted to head straight to her room, but she didn't. She just prowled through the corridors, half hoping no one would notice her, but half hoping someone would. She looked at some of the artwork on the walls, jotting down notes in her pocket sketchbook about abstract and perception. She smiled at her notes. Some were sideways, other written in fancy font. Nothing was normal for Juliet. At least not any more. And she was beginning to accept that.

Scarlet looks over at Drake and she turns her movie off, pulls a throw blanket over his body and puts a pillow under his head. Scarlet slowly gets off of her bed, careful to not wake Drake, and walks back downstairs. After walking around for a while, Scarlet finds a room, similer to a family room, and sits down on a couch, opens a leather binded book, and begins writing.

Drake woke up,with a jolt. He was in a cold sweat, and his breathing was hard. He looked around, it wasn't his room. It wasn't his blanket, or his bed. He let out a sigh of relief as he let his head fall back down. "Scarlet." He said, his voice horse and faint. He took a few minutes to recover, wipe the sweat from his face, and fold the blanket up that Scarlet had put over him. He walked out of the room, and decided to find her.

Scarlet had stopped writing, and was now drawing a bear on one of the back pages of the book. She hummed the song You're Going Down by Sick Puppies, and laughed to herself quietly.

Drake walked in, smiling partially. He fell back onto the couch, on the opposite end Scarlet was on, yawning. He didn't say anything, considering he was still half asleep.

"Good afternoon." Scarlet says, hardly looking up. "How did you sleep?" She asks, after she closes the book, putting it in her lap.

"Wonderful." Drake said, letting out a long puff of air. "Wait, it's the afternoon?" He asked groggily, opening one eye and looking over at Scarlet.

"Yep." Scarlet says, quietly laughing. "I was sure you were going to wake up but, I was mistaken." She continues, fiddling with her pen.
