Scarlet flinches hearing the knock, but says, "come in," while having a tight grip on her knife. Simple things frightened her nowadays, so her favorite knife accompanied her everywhere she went.

Drake slowly entered the room followed by a big grin as he walked over to her bed, sitting down on the bed and pettig tex lightly.

Scarlet smiled a bit seeing Drake but her grip on the knife didn't loosen. "Hey, bout time you get out." She says in a rather hoarse voice.

"Worked as hard as I could to get back to you." Drake said, raising a hand to move hair from her forehead, before softly caressing her bruised face, and sighing.

Scarlett's lips half smiled, "you deserve three thousand cookies, thank you," she says, before giving Drake a lingering kiss, when she pulled back, her half smile lifted a bit. "The animals tell me the two of you were planning to go have a good night, you should get on that, have fun." Scarlet says a yawn over coming her.

"You sure babe? I can easily postpone it until tomorrow, Lucas would understand, plus, I missed you." He sighed, putting his forehead to hers.

"It's up to you, either way, I want you to be happy." Scarlet says she had let go of the knife now, and let out a small content sigh.

Drake sighed an d kissed her lightly, and for a while. After a while he pulled away, looking into her eyes. " I owe it to Lucas, so how about tomorrow you and Mr sit right in this bed all day, cuddle, and watch the lord of the rings. All of them.

"You won't get jealous of me fawning over Aragorn," Scarlet asks jokingly, now smiling, even Tex was wagging his tail.

"Not as long as we get to do this." Drake said, his lips lingering in front of hers momentarily before kissing her.

Scarlet kissed back before breaking off and murmuring, "I love you."

"I love you more Scarlet Turner." Hr whispered back k, petting Tex on the head lightly.

"I need some sleep, have fun hanging out with Lucas." Scarlet says, giving Drake one last kiss and laying down. Tex curled up next to her, his face against hers, both were tired , and now Scarlet was finally able to sleep.

Drake pulled the blanket over the two and kissed her forehead before silently leaving the room.

Lucas leaned against the wall across from Scarlet's room, looking to Drake as he exited the room. "Ready to go?" He asked.

"Hell yeah." Drake said, grinning. "Know a good bar, or place in town?" He asked, starting to walk down stairs.

Lucas nodded, "Called the Grill, couple miles from here. We'll take my car." He said, making his way to the garage. His car was underneath a veil to prevent dust from landing on his car. He flipped the veil off, revealing a red 1963 Porche 356B Karmann Coupe. He entered the drivers seat, turning the vintage car on. Once Drake entered, they drove off to the Grill, a bar and cafe. Lucas entered the pale-green building, sitting down at the bar where he ordered a glass of bourbon.

"All I'm saying is, Bon Jovi was way ahead of his time. Yeah people enjoyed his music, but people today would love it even more." Drake said, as he entered the grill and sat down at a bar stool next to Lucas.

Lucas shrugged, "His concerts were still pretty intense, perfect place to party. That's where my friend took me," Lucas said, drinking from his glass and chuckling, "Oh man, those were the good days."

"What concert? Because I went to one in Michigan, in 1982." Drake said, he wasn't old, hell he had only started to gain his powers in 1980. And as long as he didn't feed, he aged normally. So ye.

Lucas grinned, "Hey, same one! It was my birthday." Lucas reminisced, "Anyways, enough with old-timey stories, what's your story?"

"Well, my story. Is that I grew up poor, in the late 60's into the late 70's in England, hit puberty, gained powers in 1979. The urge to feed was the number one thing, not knowing it would cause my ageing to cease, I went on a feeding spree. Modern day Jack the ripper a lot of people said. I began to go back and forth from England to America, until finally I stayed here. A year or so back I met Scarlet, and I stopped feeding." Drake said, ordering a drink.

(fok dat 7 deadly shit) Lucas nodded, grimacing as he took another drink. "Sounds like an average life of a mutant."

(tru) "I guess you're right." Drake said, downing the rest of his drink in one motion, and nodding as he swallowed. "I've been meaning to ask, are you even technically a mutant?" He asked, nodding to the bartender for another one.

Lucas shrugged, "Eh, maybe. I have the public qualities of one. I'm equally hated, capable of genocide, I'm not human, so, that's that." Lucas finished his drink, placing it onto the table, "Where do you want to go now?"
