The New and Improved.

Scarlet stood up quickly and grabbed Drake's arm. "What happened?" She asks wiping his mouth with her sleeve, she didn't seem angry, it was no better than what she had been doing.

"I'd tell you, but my family told me not to." Drake snapped, his eyes were fully red, with black pupils. Fangs protruded from his mouth, a extra power that came with shadow manipulation, was a type of vampirism, only able to be used when extremely angry.

Scarlet's eyes narrowed and she punched him in the face. "Fine." She says, she calmly walked upstairs and packed her duffle bag, along with her research, got on her motorcycle and rode off. The only trace of her existence was Susan and her painted walls.

Drake walked into his room, not phased by Scarlet leaving. He wasn't himself, the dark side that was in full control, before he met her, had taken back over. He grabbed the black leather cloak from his closet and put it on, He sunk into the floor as a shadow, and left.

Leia watched the whole interaction, raising an eyebrow as Drake and Scarlet stormed off. She decided to try to follow Drake. Obviously he was going coocoo and needed someone to slap some sense into him; she was no cupid but that was obviously not supposed to happen. She walked up to his room and looked around, groaning at no site of him. She jogged downstairs, stepping into her crappy car to hopefully find him.

Kris sighed, snuggling into him, "Better than Gloomy Colin." She said, intertwining their hands once more. It was nighttime, and the nurses had ended their shift for now, or was helping someone else with more imperative issues. "You know what, let's get married. Right now, right here." She said, as she sat up.

"We don't, we don't have a priest though Kris." Colin said, although he wanted to marry her, more than anything. To be her's, forever and always. Especially due to recent events.

"We don't need one right now, we'll go to City Hall tomorrow, for now," She said, turning over and searching the drawers. "Post-It notes, and a pen." Kris climbed back into the bed, sitting criss-crossed and turned to Colin, "Alright; vows. What do we want to promise eachother?"

"Well." Colin said, looking at her, grinning. "That we'll always be there for each other. Through thick and thin. No matter what comes at us. If it gets too much, we run. Together. No sacrifices. We make it through, no matter what." He said, his eyes looking into hers as he spoke.

Kris smiled, writing it down, "We'll be together when we're old, senile, and gross." She said, writing that down too. "And we'll love each other, even when we hate each other." Kris said, writing. She signed it, and gave it to him, "Sign it, and we'll be married."

"And then I get to kiss the bride?" Colin asked, and then signed the paper.

"Of course." Kris smiled, practically leaping at Colin, kissing him.

Colin put his hands on her back, kissing back. He smiled into the kiss, and laughed, pulling away just enough to talk. "I love you Kris Wagner." He said, laughing once more before kissing her again.

Kris pulled away, "And I you, Colin Wagner." She breathed, kissing him.

After a lengthy, sexual tension creating kiss, Colin pulled away to get a full breath. "Another thing that should be added to that list. We need to do this more often." He said, laughing lightly.

(ew) "Not promising that my whole life." Kris scoffed, laying back down into the bed, "There's a reason we don't do it everyday now." Kris said sleepily.

"I know, I know. You can't handle all of this." Colin joked, putting his hand back in hers.

After failing to find Drake, Leia returned to the mansion and went down to the infirmary. She barged in, "Hate to ruin you guys' little moment, we have trouble. We need to find Drake or Scarlet before someone kills someone."

By now, Scarlet was across Pennsylvania, she was headed towards Texas, the rode down would be long and she was already exhausted. Though she spent days researching, she still had almost no idea what she would find.

Ken walked down the street holding a coffee in one hand his cellphone in another. Not looking where he was going, he bumped right into a man with blood on his face, fully red eyes, and pronounced veins beneath his eyes. He didn't notice this at first because Ken was now soaked with his own coffee. "Oy! Watch where your going you bloody twa-" Just then, he noticed the guys appearance. He jumped back falling over himself, trying to get away.

Drake grinned underneath his hood, as he grabbed Ken by the neck, and dashed into a dark alley. "I'd watch who you're talking to, Kenneth." Drake growled, his voice was dark, and deep. But his face a evil smirk, as his the veins under his eyes pulsated.

"Mother of God..." Ken said looking at him. "Drake? What happened to you? You look like you've been raped by Nosforatu..." He got a good look at his face. The Australian nearly threw up. He held it back, but barely. "How are you even out? Don't you like, explode in the sun?"

"No you dimwit. Have you ever even seen The Vampire Diaries, all of that's real, just the characters are tweaked. I mean shit, look at Lukas." He said, referring to the vampire 'mutant' that lived in the mansion. He waved his hand in front of his face, a large ring around his middle finger. "Daylight ring." He muttered, and put his teeth near his neck. "Now tell me why I shouldn't drain you here and drop you off the top of the empire state." He said, the veins growing even more and more distinguished.

"Well 1, you have no real reason. And 2. I could just open a portal to the mansion, rip off your daylight ring, and right before I die, so do you." Ken said smirking. "But hey, I got nothing to live for. Do you?"

Without another word, Drake ripped into Ken's neck, drinking his blood like an animal, before dropping his body to the ground, still alive, and speeding off.
