Day of Present Bore.

Dante slipped into the classroom quickly, taking the seat closest to the door in an attempt to go un-noticed.

I look at the new comer who had just stepped in, flashing a small smile at him before looking down at my note book

Dante smirked at Maddie, but kept close attention on Wolverine.

I take notes on the lesson he is teaching, looking up at times but mostly keeping my head down.

Midnight had winced when he had run his claws across the board. Now, having been recovered, she was listening. She didn't take out a notebook or anything, but listened.

"Before I go on." Logan said, looking around the room. " Does anyone have any questions?"

Dante sighed, resting his chin on the flat of his palm, tapping gently on his notebook with a pencil.

'Don't make eye contact..' I think looking at my notebook, sketching cubes yeah I know odd thing to do when you are board

"I have one. Why are you the teacher of this class? I mean, your a bloodthirsty killer, an avenger, and you have claws bigger than my head. So why are you teaching? Don't you have somewhere else to be? Like shaving?" Jeremiah asked. He was clearly egging the older mutant on.

I look up to see Jeremiah talking to our teacher, making eye contact with him my face shows a look of: "Don't do it man..."

Midnight glanced over to Jeremiah, the to Wolverine. This was gonna be good. And by good, hilarious.

I mean it would suck if there was a fight the first day of school... and it looks like there was going to be one.

"Nice one kid. It's not like I haven't heard that one from every ignorant child I've taught. Now, if you don't excuse me, I'll go back to teaching about how to not be a smartass." Logan said and leaned down over his desk, writing something down. "Detention. And I heard Gambit is teaching that today, have fun cleaning the paper cuts he'll give ya." Logan said with a grin as he threw the paper at Jeremiah.

While Jeremiah decided to set off the instructor, Artemis eyed Adrian, noticing the lack of a greeting.

Jeremiah grinned back, despite having failed to start a fight, he liked the older mutant. Plus, detention is a good way to get your street cred up. Even if he gained some explosive paper cuts.

Dante raised his hand slowly.

"Not to be rude, but can we get on with the lesson?"

Kris grinned at Jeremiah and Wolverines' interaction. However, she was a goody-goody in school. A bad grade or even a detention could make her flip out.

"Indeed we can." Logan said, and went back to teaching.


Colin turned to Kris, trying not to laugh. But he couldn't hold it back, so a small laugh came out after a moment. He covered his mouth and then went back to acting like he was listening.

Adrian turned to Artemis, not saying anything. He just looked at him, his chin resting in his hand.

'Detention.. saw that one coming....' I think looking at Jeremiah, then looking down taking notes on every thing he had said that was important

Dante watched intently, taking notes on the important stuff.

'I wonder if I can just go forward in time and skip this class...' I think to myself as I look at my pocket watch

Midnight turned away from Jeremiah. She went back to watching Logan as he taught. Again, she didn't bother with notes but did listen.

I keep taking notes, glancing at Logan as he teaches the lesson.

Artemis' notebook was left empty, pen laying beside it. His focus had moved to the board, with only occasional glances around the classroom, especially focused on Kris and Adrian.
