The New and Improved.

Scarlet looked up at Leia, and gave her a sarcastic smile, "you don't wanna know." Scarlet finishes her food and sighs deeply. "What's today?"

"Probably Alex moping around with Arty, Thomas trying to hit on every girl in his eyesight, maybe throw in an attack on the mansion somewhere in there," Leiaa replied, finishing her gumbo.

"The date, I wanted the date," Scarlet says, taking some ibuprofen. The stitches hidden under her shirt were giving her trouble, not to mention the splitting head ache she had.

Drake opened his eyes, not moving. "I wasn't asleep." He said, in a empty way, with no emotion or expression. He had his hands under his head, staring at the ceiling while he laid on the uncomfortable cot.

Colin wore a black, thick long sleeved shirt and a pair of jeans. Without shoes, he walked out onto the balcony. Leaning over the railing and looking out into the forest around the mansion. He turned his head to the side to look at her, smiling. "How is it?" He asked, his eyes looking at the cocoa, before back into her eyes.

"Oh. March 13," Leia shrugged. She got up and put her dishes in the sink and finishing off her coke.

Kris smiled, "Good, it's warm," She replied, comfy and warm in her blanket, "Thanks."

"Mhm." Colin replied, before he walked over and sat down in a chair next to her. Yawning as he put his head on her shoulder.

Lucas crossed his arms, "Well you should have, we have a long day. Alright get up, and try not to kill anyone." He took out a pair of keys that hung from a belt loop on his jeans, unlocking the door and opening it, letting out a rusting hinge sound. (is drakes emos back on or nah)

"So, what's our plans?" She asked, wiggling her way to face Colin, looking intently at his pale blue eyes.

Drake muttered something before he stood up and exited the cell, the smell of all the warm bodies in the mansion, caused the veins under his eyes to grow large, and his fangs to show, but he didn't move, he just waited.

"Can't we just do this all day?" Colin whispered, staring back into her eyes, with a slight laugh. "Let everything else move on around us while we just sit here and be all romantic and stuff."

"I mean, our future plans. Like, together." Kris said, clearing her throat after. She rubbed her fingers against the warm, steaming mug, the wind brushing past the two.

"Hmm. We travel the world a bit. Settle down, here in the mansion, or maybe we move somewhere remote. We have kids, and we grow old together." Colin said, rubbing his nose against hers and smiling. "Or, you know. Stay here and fight bad guys long into our golden years, retire when we're in our late 80's and move to Maui where we become our parents." He joked.

Lucas stood in front of Drake, "Right, so, we're going to want to not show our vampire a bunch of pre-teens on the outside. We're just going move past them without killing anyone, and heading to the forest with some booze and lots of bunnies." He said, "We'll be making progress, but you need to try not to be a monster on the outside. We'll work from the outside in."

"I want to stay here, because, you know, we can visit Artemis... grave, and there's still a lot of drama going on. I don't like becoming our parents, though. We could have our kids meet Artemis and Artemis can grumpily yell at them from wherever his soul rests." Kris sighed, leaning into Colin. "And if we stay here, we can be like, historical landmarks that new kids can come visit as we yell at them to get our jello."

"I have to go on a bunny diet? Are you kidding me?" Drake muttered, the veins vanishing under his eyes and his fangs retracting. As he began to follow Lucas.

"I can see it now. 'Stay away from the Wagners, they like to scream, and throw their dentures at you if you don't get them jello.'" Colin laughed,

Kris laughed, almost spilling the hot cocoa. She set it down, then kissed Colin on the cheek. "So, we'll be okay." She breathed, almost as if she was reassuring herself.

"We'll be okay." Colin agreed, kissing her forehead. He intertwined his fingers with hers, squeezing lightly.

"Bunny diet as punishment, then you can switch to blood bags when your emotions are fully turned on." Lucas said, striding past the semi-crowded hallways of the mansion. Soon enough, they made it to the outside. They made their way into the forest, deep enough where there were no students or people for that matter; only animals and insects. Lucas turned to Drake, "Get better, for Scarlet." He said with honest intentions. He still had a slight grudge against Drake, but as long as Drake wasn't killing humans, Lucas didn't have any cravings. "So, it's like humans, close your eyes, and listen for the animals."

Drake sighed, and without closing his eyes he lunged at a tree, grabbing a branch and launching himself upward, grabbing onto a squirrel and falling back down, landing next to Lucas.

Scarlet thanked Leia with a nod before walking towards the medical wing, where she sat for a good hour taking out a few lines of stitches, the small but deep X on the top of her cheek now rested as a painful reminder, as if the scar over her eye from when she was young wasn't bad enough.

"There you go, now, kill it, drain it, toss it. Only thing you can do with animals, never humans, got that?" Lucas said, with a raised eyebrow.

Drake nodded, and hesitantly drained the squirrel of it's blood, before tossing it's deflated body to the side.
